A Little About Me: I've been an herbal enthusiast for quite some time, but I never FULLY appreciated, or understood even, all of the plant’s excellent medicinal properties until I underwent what was supposed to be a simple gallbladder removal surgery in 2016...the surgery went from “simple” to nearly fatal due to a surgical mistake. I spent 6 miserable months in-and-out of the hospital, having multiple PAINFUL procedures to fix the mistake during my initial surgery, undergoing a HORRIFIC event involving a nurse, having a different nurse bribe me with MY pain medicine, developing a blood clot in my right lung due to the drains that were sticking out of my abdomen putting pressure on my diaphragm, etc. 

I soon developed sepsis. I remember a doctor sitting on my bed, explaining what sepsis is and my small chance of beating it due to my highly compromised immune system. I laid in a hospital bed for daaaays trying to make peace with the fact that I was going to die....but I FOUGHT. The next sentence you read will be the most true sentence you've ever read in your life. CBD saved my life. I went from 180+ Percocet, 60 OxyContin (both monthly), 4 muscle relaxers/day, 4 nerve pills/day, 2 klonopin/day etc to 1/2 a nerve pill, 2 antacids, klonopin when needed and dosing with CBD products throughout the day for pain control, nausea, muscle relaxation and to help give my appetite a boost.

I was once told I had a slight chance of surviving sepsis. Today, I am enjoying a relaxing Sunday with my wife and pets in our lovely home, I am starting a blog and I am BEYOND grateful for this and every moment..from the magical to the magically mundane, I’m here for it all!
